Walsh Construction tops out 160 N. Morgan
CHICAGO - Walsh Construction joined Sterling Bay, Ascentris, CIBC, bKL Architecture and BOWA Construction to celebrate the topping out of 160 N. Morgan in Chicago's Fulton Market District. Construction progress has reached its maximum height for the 29-story class-A multi-family development that will consist of 282 units and 89 parking spaces along with rentable retail space.
Walsh Construction is leading construction efforts alongside joint venture partner and certified minority-owned business BOWA Construction. Walsh and BOWA broke ground on 160 N. Morgan in April 2022, and achieved the topping out of the project 11 months later.
Designed bKL Architecture, 160 N. Morgan features masonry and metal materials throughout. A distinct external feature of the residential building is the Y-shaped trusses that support the tower above an outdoor deck, which will contain the residential units with convertibles, studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans.
Pre-leasing for 160 N Morgan will open in July, with the first units expected to deliver to tenants in September.
