The Walsh Group completes RapidRide H Line transit improvements

Burien, Washington - The Walsh Group joined King County Metro, Burien Mayor Sofia Aragon and local officials to celebrate the completion of the new RapidRide H Line, a bus transit route connecting Burien to downtown Seattle.

The Walsh Group installed RapidRide stations in unincorporated King County and the cities of Seattle and Burien. Seventeen new stations were built with an additional 34 existing stations receiving upgrades. Along 4.81 miles of roadway, new fiber and communication duct banks were be installed and traffic signal systems improved. Work also included modifications of roadways signals, and channelization to facilitate bus movements. Transit improvements will upgrade the speed, reliability, and customer experience for 6,000 daily riders of the current Route 120.
