The Walsh Group prepares to celebrate Quality Week, November 1-5
CHICAGO – The Walsh Group, one of the largest contractors in North America, will hold its fourth annual Quality Week during November 1-5. Quality Week is a celebration of the company’s professional and craft workforce, while promoting accountability and recognizing work performed accurately and safely.
Quality Week commemorates The Walsh Group’s legacy of holding their building, transportation, and water projects to the highest standards of excellence. The weeklong celebration engages their project teams to raise quality awareness, showcase the care and pride that teams take in their work, and highlights the strong synergy between safety and quality.
“Quality is a core value at The Walsh Group,” said Joe Quattrochi, director of quality for the company’s heavy civil division. “Celebrating the pride our people take in their work is essential to be the Employer of Choice for our People and the Builder of Choice for our customers.”
Quality Week is centered around a collective message to “Build Your Legacy.” The theme represents the quest to be pro-active and accountable for every detail on every project. It is the responsibility of all employees and team members to empower one another so that all embrace the principals of quality.
“Quality Week is a time for our employees and subcontractors to be proud of our legacy of quality and our work together,” said Angelo Trapani, director of quality for The Walsh Group’s building division. “It’s a time to remind ourselves why quality work is important, focus on improvement, and reinvigorate our passion for the industry along with each of our individual crafts and contributions.”
Quality Week serves as an additional platform to provide training and continued education for employees across all projects and offices. Throughout the week, project teams and regional offices will hold events to showcase their passion and the services they’re providing to customers.
