David Casey Named COO of the Heavy Civil Division
As part of the successful growth and planned expansion of the Heavy Civil Division, the position of Chief Operating Officer was created to provide additional leadership within this division of The Walsh Group.
In this role, David will oversee all activities within the Heavy Civil Division, continue to prepare the group for future growth, and underwrite all opportunities within the Division. David will report directly to Don Gillis, who remains President of the Heavy Civil Division. Formerly a Senior Business Group Leader, David will continue in this role until a replacement is selected.
David holds a degree in Construction Management from Southern College of Technology and joined The Walsh Group in 1990. He is on the National Boards for the American Concrete Pavement Association and the American Segmental Bridge Institute. He also sits on the Southern Polytechnic State University Industry Advisory Board.
