This project included the addition of two 20-MGD pumps to expand the station from 90 MGD to 130 MGD with new pump control valves, piping and associated appurtenances. It included installation of additional bowls to three existing pumps to increase the pump head; spare bowls for Pumps P-3 and P-4; a 60-inch-diameter suction and discharge header and connections to existing header piping; construction of a new building to house additional pumps and electrical equipment adjacent to the existing building; electrical, instrumentation and SCADA equipment to support pumping units, including one soft starter and one variable frequency drive; the addition of one 3750-kVA transformer with pad in the existing electrical yard; and a new 4160-volt switchgear lineup in the electrical room.
