Walsh Logistics provided Initial Outfitting & Transition (IO&T) Services on the multi-phased renovation project under the DHA iDBO program. Our work includes services in a temporary phasing facility, Surgical Units, medical technology, temporary SPD trailer, temporary MRI trailer, MRI equipment. Our services included FF&E and Medical Equipment planning, procurement, purchasing, installation and training AND transition planning and move logistics services. We will decommission and dispose of non-reuse items.

The Elmendorf Hospital Modernization project modernized the existing US Air Force Treatment Facility which provides care to 159,000 Department of Defense and VA beneficiaries. The renovation covered approximately 12,000 SF and two floors of the facility; updating two Operating Rooms, surgical support spaces and the Sterile Processing and Distribution, which is also referred to as Central Sterile Supply or “SPD/CSS.” The MRI Suite was renovated and upgraded, including the installation of 2 MRI modalities in the newly constructed department space.
