Walsh Logistics provided FF&E outfitting of over 300,000 SF of new construction for the California Military Department operational space. Scope includes planning, procurement, purchasing and installation of the furniture, fixtures, and equipment packages. The complex contains 750 workstations, over 200 offices, and over 90 television monitors. The project also includes more than 2500 chairs and seating of various types, and over 1,000 each of recycling containers, desk fans, lights, power extension modules, and other ancillary items.

This project is a two-step design-build construction of a 285,700 SF facility for the California Military Department. The overall facility of four buildings includes an Access Control Point building, Warehouse, Emergency Operations Center, and Headquarters offices. Buildings will include offices, conference rooms, operations centers, classrooms, an auditorium, and associated site development and will be built to receive LEED Gold Certification. The FF&E installations were required to be completed in a hand-in-glove process as the construction was completed in each phase area. These conditions required installation flexibility, adaptation to changing space availability and inspection scheduling, and on-the-fly installation problem solving.
