The historic West Point Military Academy is renovating one of its oldest campus buildings, Bartlett Hall Science Center, into a state-of-the-art facility. This project marks one of the first major renovations of an academic building at West Point. The building interior will be completely renovated and new classrooms, laboratories and administrative areas will be constructed. The renovation represents a complete upgrade of the historic structure, ranging from handicapped accessibility to meeting security and fire safety standards. When completed, Bartlett Hall and an adjacent library will become an expanded and modernized science center with more than 300,000 square feet for the school’s science programs.
