Archer Western earns Colorado Springs Utilities' 2026 Contractor Safety Excellence Award
Colorado Springs, Colorado – Archer Western's Colorado Water team has been recognized with Colorado Springs Utilities' 2026 Contractor Safety Excellence Award, the utility's highest safety honor for contractors. Senior Superintendent Jon Edwards accepted the award on behalf of the teams that have supported work at the Star Ranch Pump Station, Pine Valley Water Treatment Plant, McCullough Water Treatment Plant, J.D. Phillips Water Resource Facility, and Tollefson Water Treatment Plant.
Presented annually to Colorado Springs Utilities' top-performing contractor, the award recognizes an outstanding commitment to safety, accountability and continuous improvement. This achievement reflects the dedication of our project teams to maintaining a strong safety culture while delivering critical water infrastructure projects throughout the region. Through consistent attention to safe work practices and a shared commitment to protecting one another, the team has demonstrated the values that define excellence in construction safety.
