The Walsh Group promotes Erik Logan to Vice President of National Aviation
Chicago, Illinois - The Walsh Group, one of the largest contractors in North America, has announced the promotion of Erik Logan to Vice President and Business Group Leader of National Aviation within the company's building division.
As Vice President, Logan will provide oversight and leadership for The Walsh Group’s national aviation projects. His responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining customer relationships, monitoring project progress, supervision, review of management systems and project staffing.
"Erik’s diligent leadership style and attention-to-detail will continue to grow our aviation practice,” said Mike Whelan, President of The Walsh Group's Building Division. “Erik is in lock-step with the national aviation market and invests in fully understanding our customers and their needs, while ensuring our project teams are staffed to deliver successful and profitable results.”
Logan has 35 years of experience in the construction industry with 31 years at The Walsh Group. He previously served as Program Manager, responsible for aviation, industrial and retail projects across the United States. Logan’s career at The Walsh Group has been highlighted by successful and engaging relationships with numerous airport customers, including Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and the Terminal D Expansion as well as the award-winning High C Gates Modular project, Houston International Airport’s Terminal A Baggage Handling System, Sarasota Airport Baggage Handling Improvements and the San Antonio Airport’s Terminal A and B Gate expansion. During his 31 years at Walsh, Logan also led many successful projects in hospitality, government office buildings, manufacturing, and industrial market sectors.
