The Walsh Group promotes Eric Larsen to Senior Vice President within building division
CHICAGO - The Walsh Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Eric Larsen to Senior Vice President within the company’s building division.
Larsen will provide senior executive leadership over all aspects of preconstruction and construction operations for The Walsh Group’s Center of Excellence in Multi-Family and Senior Living, as well as building projects in the Texas, Nashville, Mid-Atlantic and Atlanta regions.
"Eric's leadership has showcased his invaluable ability to inspire project teams, deliver successful results and build customer trust," said Mike Whelan, president of The Walsh Group's building division. "Eric has taken our building work to a new level, creating added opportunities for our teams, while establishing Walsh Construction and Archer Western as a national builder of choice for our customers. As a senior executive, Eric will work closely with ownership to help guide the evolution of our business for the years ahead."
Larsen has spent his entire 33-year career at The Walsh Group, working through the project management ranks to provide senior leadership over projects and programs across multiple building types. Larsen previously served as vice president, establishing strong customer relationships that prompted the growth and expansion of his group’s portfolio of work, which includes aviation, multi-family, high-rise residential and office, private education and senior living. Under Larsen’s leadership, the success of these building programs has not only established The Walsh Group as a predominant contractor in Chicago and Dallas, but has also evolved the company into a major presence within the Nashville, Washington DC and Atlanta markets.
