ASA Chicago recognizes J.R. Snyder with Outstanding Project Manager Award
Chicago, IL - Walsh Construction's J.R. Snyder was presented with the Outstanding General Contractor Project Manager Award by The Association of Subcontractors and Affiliates (ASA Chicago) at its annual "Our Stars Are Shining" Awards event.
Snyder was recognized for his role as an assistant project manager, supervising on-site teams and managing daily field operations at the Salesforce Tower Chicago project. He was nominated for his detail-oriented approach, clear communication skills, timeliness, excellent follow-through, and his ability to ensure project advancement by coordinating well with multiple trades.
Snyder has 11 years of construction-industry experience, initially starting in project finance then evolving into project management. His readiness to listen and learn from those around him, understand the concerns of the trades and determination to find solutions as a team have helped him grow in his career and maintain strong relationships.
Snyder also devotes a lot of his time to Misericordia, a community of care that maximizes potential for persons with mild to profound developmental disabilities. He has been a volunteer at Misericordia for more than 15 years, during which he co-founded the Misericordia Young Professionals Council in 2015.
