The Walsh Group's Doug VanSlambrook earns National Design-Build Certification
CHICAGO, IL - The Walsh Group's Design-Build Manager Doug VanSlambrook has been certified as a Designated Design-Build Professional through the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).
VanSlambrook is a Design-Build Manager for The Walsh Group's Transportation Division, focusing on complex Alternative Delivery projects and company-wide best practices. Over his 20-year career at Walsh, VanSlambrook’s knowledge of design-build has helped the company deliver the Indianapolis I-69 Finish Line Project, the Ohio River Bridges East End Crossing P3 (Lewis & Clark Bridge), the DART Silver Line Commuter Rail Corridor, and the historic Milton-Madison Bridge Replacement.
VanSlambrook successfully completed the DBIA’s comprehensive education and certification testing program to achieve the design-build industry’s highest designation as a nationally certified Design-Build Professional. DBIA Certification is the nation’s only measurable standard of an individual’s knowledge of the Design-Build Done Right principles.
