The Walsh Group ranks as the No. 1 Bridge Builder in the United States
CHICAGO - The Walsh Group has been listed as the No. 1 Bridge Builder in the United States by Engineering News-Record magazine.
The Walsh Group's national bridge experience includes segmental, cable-stay, movable, and simple span bridges. With more than $686 million in reported revenues from bridge projects, The Walsh Group's portfolio includes some of the country's most complex bridge structures.
The Walsh Group is rehabilitating the I-84/Route 8 Mixmaster Bridges in Waterbury, Connecticut, constructing the new Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa, the new Signature Bridge in downtown Miami, I-294 Mile Long Bridge in Willow Springs, Illinois, the New Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge in Washington, DC, the I-480 Valley View Bridge in Independence, Ohio, as well as a series of bridges over I-80 in Placer County, California.
The rankings are based on contracting revenue and are published in Engineering News-Record's 2022 Top 400 Sourcebook. Engineering News-Record performs annual surveys and ranks companies engaged in general contracting, specialty contracting, engineering, architecture and environmental services, among other specialties.
