The Walsh Group celebrates Quality Week 2022 across all projects and offices, November 7-11
CHICAGO – The Walsh Group, one of the largest contractors in North America, is celebrating its fifth annual Quality Week during November 7-11. Quality Week is a celebration of the professional and craft workforce, while promoting accountability and recognizing work performed accurately and safely.
Quality Week commemorates The Walsh Group’s legacy of holding their building, transportation, and water projects to the highest standards of excellence. The weeklong celebration engages project teams to raise quality awareness, showcase the care and pride that teams take in their work, and highlights the strong synergy between safety and quality.
“Every year Quality Week grows in recognition with more vendors participating and our peers following suit,” said Angelo Trapani, director of quality for The Walsh Group’s building division. “The industry is recognizing the importance of taking this time to focus on our efforts and the quality of our work.”
In 2022, Quality Week encourages employees and team members to celebrate their "Commitment - Quality - Results." The week also further emphasizes the responsibility of all employees and team members to empower one another so that all embrace the principals of quality.
“We’ve built some amazing infrastructure over this past year, structures that will be standing long beyond our time,” said Joe Quattrochi, director of quality for the company’s heavy civil division. “That's why it's the Quality of our work that has a lasting legacy that we leave behind to our customers, our community and to our own name. It's important that we remember this and also celebrate the work that we are proud to have built.”
Quality Week is also an additional platform for project team and offices to provide continued trainings and education events at all regional offices and jobsites.
