The Walsh Group welcomes Barry Pihowich as Vice President of Northwest Transportation
The Walsh Group welcomes Barry Pihowich as Vice President of Northwest Transportation. Pihowich will oversee the company's Seattle and Northern California heavy civil operations.
"Our transportation portfolio and brand presence is growing steadily across the Northwest,” said David Casey, President of the Heavy Civil Group. “Barry will work with our local leaders and the entire regional staff to take us to the next level of success.”
With more than 30 years in construction, Pihowich has a proven career of executive-level management experience, including multiple years as District Manager and President/Vice President for a major heavy civil contractor. He has spent the majority of his career working on multi-million-dollar heavy civil, earthworks and transportation infrastructure projects in the Northwest, as well as western Canada. He’s been responsible for the executive management of operations and pursuits for numerous P3, design-build and design-bid-build projects.
Barry holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
