The Lake Texoma Raw Water Pump Station project modernized critical water infrastructure for the City of Denison, Texas, replacing aging intake and pumping systems to increase raw water capacity from Lake Texoma. Built by Archer Western and designed by Plummer Associates, the project supports Denison’s long-term water supply needs and strengthens the city’s ability to meet demand from residents, businesses, and future development.
The project included construction of a new intake pump station with vertical turbine pumps located in Lake Texoma, along with 6,750 linear feet of 42-inch raw water pipeline, 1,700 linear feet of 8-inch water pipeline, 7,600 linear feet of 24-inch water pipeline, and a 200-foot aerial crossing over the Randell Lake dam spillway. Additional improvements included site development, environmental mitigation, electrical work, site security, and SCADA upgrades to improve monitoring and operational control.
