This replacement project houses both laundry and sorting operations under a single roof. The 114,000-square-foot base building, 35,000 square feet of mezzanine decks and 10,800-square-foot vehicle maintenance facility were designed to meet Aramark's growing needs in Chicago and its suburbs. The new base building hosts a clean dock, soil dock, production area, stockroom, wastewater treatment room, freestanding laundry equipment, and a mezzanine- and deck-supported conveyance system. Architecturally enhanced 35-foot precast panels line the exterior and form several of the interior walls. The main production building was complemented by a stand-alone fleet maintenance facility.
