The Walsh Logistics team provided the planning, procurement, purchasing, delivery, and installation of new X-Ray equipment to the Ryan Athletic Center. The team procured, purchased, and installed the Del Medical DFMT Radiographic Imaging System for the building. Onsite coordination meetings were hosted, ensuring the site-specific drawings were incorporated into the construction of the room. The WL team provided onsite in-wall verification services prior to drywall commencing. WL also integrated and coordinated the delivery and installation of the modality with the Walsh/BM construction schedule and on time on the customer’s Go-Live date of June 1.

The client was provided with a project closeout binder which includes the specification sheet, warranty documents, completed warranty card, copy of quote and operator’s manual for each piece of equipment procured. WL scheduled testing and training with the end users to make sure the building was prepared for them. The Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Fieldhouse and Mark and Kimbra Walter Athletics Center is a transformational athletic expansion on Northwestern University’s Evanston campus. The fieldhouse provides a large, indoor multipurpose facility for football practice as well as Olympic sports team practices and competitions, recreational activities, and non-sporting events. The athletics center is a state-of-the-art facility that houses academic support services for more than 500 student-athletes, a nutrition center and dining facility, a sports performance center, and office space for coaches and administrators.
