The National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) is a 25,000 SF treatment center serving the Defense Health Agency - Facilities Enterprise. The facility is dedicated to post traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, associated pain conditions and psychological injuries in active-duty service members. NICoE advances our nation’s understanding of the invisible wounds suffered from wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. This center responds to the growing needs of those who suffered from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), psychological Health (PH concerns, and serves as a leader in the TBI care and research throughout the MHS.
