The Chicago Motor Club renovation is a shining example of adaptive reuse. The renovated building maintains the vibrancy and design of the Art Deco period, while invigorating the building with modern technologies and innovation. This renovation utilized state-of-the-art preservation techniques which restored the structure to its original grandeur, and modernized it to meet contemporary standards. Adaptively reused as a 143-key Hampton Inn hotel, the LEED certified building once again serves as destination for travelers.
