The Chicago Data Center Campus is a 53 acre site, housing two data centers and 38.4 MW of critical IT power. Each building includes admin space and multiple COLO data halls with 2N redundant power lineups comprised of UPS and PDU units. Critical space cooling is handled by evaporative AHUs with hot aisle containment. Fire Protection for the data halls are pre-action systems. Telecommunications scope includes redundant fiber entrances to equipment.

The site hosts a new substation with (4) 40 MW Transformers, giving the campus a total capacity of 160 MVA. Redundant power is provided from multiple generators with integral 10,320 gallon belly fuel tanks.

This project required concurrent COLO builds executed under an accelerated schedule, demanding precise coordination and streamlined workflows.
