Archer Western’s Bobby Hays honored with AGC Georgia Safety Leadership Award
Atlanta, Georgia – Archer Western congratulates Superintendent Bobby Hays on being honored earlier this season with the Safety Leadership Award from the Associated General Contractors of Georgia! This honor is presented annually to a field supervisor who demonstrates exceptional commitment to creating and sustaining a safe work environment, maintaining an uncompromising dedication to safety, and earning the respect of their crews through strong leadership and care for all team members.
Bobby recently led the $220 million expansion of the Snapfinger Water Reclamation Facility. At the peak of the project, he oversaw the safe execution of work performed by more than 150 field staff constructing a new facility while maintaining uninterrupted and safe operations of the existing plant. His leadership was especially critical during the planning and execution of challenging sewer and water line tie-ins, where pre-planning, coordination, and risk assessment ensured there were no interruptions to plant operations and no impacts to the surrounding communities.
His ability to collaborate, prioritize safety at every stage, and maintain focus on the wellbeing of all personnel exemplifies the qualities recognized by the AGC Georgia Safety Leadership Award.
