Matt Persing joins The Walsh Group to lead Florida Transportation operations
TAMPA - The Walsh Group welcomes Matt Persing as the new Vice President of our Florida Transportation program. In this role, Matt will be responsible for overseeing our Florida Region, while building on the solid foundation and momentum of projecs stretching from Jacksonville to Tampa to Miami.

"Matt will bring a career of successful corporate and project leadership to our teams and customers across the state."
As Vice President, Matt will be located in Tampa and lead the firm’s multi-billion-dollar portfolio of bridge and roadway work across Florida.
"Matt is an accomplished leader, with a nearly 30-year track record of working in high-growth construction companies, including multiple years at the Vice President and Regional Manager level," said Paul Carter, Walsh's Senior Vice President of Southeast Transportation. "He brings a great mix of leadership, inspiration, operational experience, technical breadth, and passion for customer care to our Florida Transportation program."
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
