Joe Maddens named to Autodesk's 40 Under 40 Champions of Construction
The Walsh Group's Senior Virtual Design and Construction Manager Joe Maddens has been listed among Autodesk's 40 Under 40 Champions of Construction for 2020.
Joe works tirelessly to manage the BIM coordination and project management practices at Walsh for the water and civil divisions. He is a trusted advisor for all divisions of the company and works closely within the Water group to train, deploy, and standardize the best solutions on the market, most of which are within Autodesk. Joe is a supporter of cloud technologies and integrations and believes in a paper free construction site. Joe keeps the company on track and push the industry forward by using the best of breed solutions available and working with owner and designers to help show them a better way. During the pandemic, he was able to implement BIM 360 Design Collaboration, Coordination, and Docs, as well as create standards for Projects in Michigan, Boston, Georgia, and Arizona as well as reaching to Toronto. Without the ability to travel, Joe was instrumental in the deployment of BIM 360 Next Gen in support of the Water Group's preconstruction services. This effort provided Walsh with the ability to work closely with engineers, designers, and owners through remote working environments.
