Walsh Construction breaks ground on The Sheridan at Oak Brook, a senior living and memory care community
OAK BROOK, IL - Construction is officially underway on The Sheridan at Oak Brook, a new five-story senior living and memory care community coming to Oak Brook, Illinois. The project is being led by Senior Lifestyle Corporation and Kaufmann Jacobs LLC, along with Walsh Construction as general contractor and Lamar Johnson Collaborative as architect.
The Sheridan at Oak Brook will include 200 units offering independent living, assisted living and memory care. The 215,000-square-foot community will sit on 4.5 acres and will include underground parking, commercial kitchen, dining room, fitness center, art room, media room, beauty salon and library.
The Sheridan at Oak Brook is developed by Senior Lifestyle Corporation and Kaufmann Jacobs LLC with Walsh Construction as general contractor and Lamar Johnson Collaborative as designer; project completion is anticipated for early 2021.
For more than 15 years, Walsh Construction has partnered with Senior Lifestyle Corporation to deliver first class senior residences at more than a dozen locations, recently completing The Sheridan at Park Ridge in Park Ridge, Illinois, and The Sheridan at Green Oaks in Lake Bluff, Illinois.
