Matthew Myles Walsh II Founders National Safety Award
As an element of The Walsh Group Safety Program, the Safety Committee annually recognizes three projects where the project team has implemented all aspects of the company Safety Matrix in an extraordinarily safe fashion. Also, the project team will have managed both self performed and subcontracted exposures with minimal incidents taking place on the project. Even subcontractor's safety performance will be considered in the analysis for the Matthew Myles Walsh, II Founders National Safety Award.
Once the project has been notified they are in contention for this recognition, the project prepares a submittal that both their safety professionals and Safety Committee review for nomination. Project safety awards are made in three categories: projects with values between $0-$20million, $20-$70million, and over $70million. The award in each project category will only be given if the project team has shown that their safety performance was exemplary. The Walsh Group annually looks forward to honoring the three “Best In Class Project Teams.”
