This design–build project replaced the conventional incineration method of solids handling where all the waste was hauled to a nearby landfill. This biosolids process converts the waste, producing a high-grade reusable fertilizer pellet. The customized biosolids facility has enhanced the quality of life for the community, providing a more environmentally friendly solution for solids disposal while operating more efficiently for decades to come.
