The Federal Express project in Chicago, Illinois, consisted of the new construction of a single story warehouse facility and a two-story office building. The primary building materials were precast and steel. The project of 112,454 SF consists of 37,370 SF of warehouse space and 15,084 SF of office space. Special features included the construction of a new seawall, the demolition of a bridge, and dynamic compaction and environmental site reform prior to commencement of building construction.
