This replacement project houses both laundry and sorting operations under a single roof. The new building hosts a clean dock, soil dock, production area, stockroom, wastewater treatment room, freestanding laundry equipment, and a mezzanine- and deck-supported conveyance system. The main production building is complemented with a standalone vehicle maintenance facility to the north able to service seven fleet trucks simultaneously. The project includes drilled piers with slab on grade construction. The 114,000 SF base building, 35,000 SF of mezzanine decks, and 10,800 SF vehicle maintenance facility are designed to meet the growing needs of the Aramark Uniform Services in the Chicago area.
