This 3-story steel and concrete retail store, with a 3-level post tensioned concrete parking garage, is located on a 3 acre lot in the South Loop of Downtown Chicago. The façade is a combination of brick, ornamental iron, curtain wall, metal composite panels, and architectural precast. The interior of the project consists of two floors of retail and one ground floor stockroom, all serviced by 9 elevators, 2 escalators, and a loading dock on the Westside of the building. In addition to being the General Contractor, Walsh Construction self-performed all of the cast-in-place concrete, H-piles (deep foundations) and rough carpentry work.
