This six level, 1,500,000 SF parking structure has a capacity of 3,500 vehicles. Walsh Construction was brought on to this project midway through the construction phase to repair and reinforce the structural columns supporting the garage. Cracking was observed in support columns on the lower two levels of the garage, and were due to a design error. Walsh’s scope of work on this project included 600,000 SF of support columns and associated grade beams, walls and roof structures. Walsh also oversaw the installation of state of the art revenue collection equipment in coordination with the operations of the Monroe Street Garage.
