The John L. Keeley MD Emergency Department Renovation project will consist of a 2,000 SF addition to the existing facility, while providing a complete renovation to the existing 12,000 SF. The addition will include improved patient access to the facility and expanded waiting and triage areas. The renovation will feature improved patient rooms as well as expanded trauma bays. Also included in the renovation will be the addition of quick care bays to assist with increasing patient through-put. The redesign of the department will allow the staff to have better access to patients, equipment and materials. It will also allow increase staff lines to the patient rooms and not have their backs to the patient.
