This replacement hospital consists of a six-story Patient Tower, a two-story Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Cancer Center, and Emergency Department totaling 645,273 SF. It includes 255 private patient beds and appropriate services. One of the unique features of this project is the fifteen-acre geothermal lake that is used to heat and cool the facility, creating a savings of $1 million in energy costs per year. A forerunner in the continuing trend of green practices and minimizing carbon footprints, this lake is the largest geothermal health care project in the world.
