Walsh Construction provided preconstruction and construction services for an addition to the existing LaGrange Memorial Hospital. The project was divided into two phases; the first included a central plant expansion for the hospital. The second included a 228,000 SF Patient Care Center facility and a new main entrance lobby. The Patient Care Center consists of a 5-story, 183,701 SF addition, a 35,764 SF sub-grade garden level addition, and a 8,456 SF roof penthouse. The facility contains 198 beds comprised of patient, outpatient, ICU, and Medical/Surgical rooms, and has a fireproofed steel frame.
