The project consists of a 34,500 SF addition to Building 212 at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan. It will expand the Army’s research and development capabilities in power and energy technology. The addition will include the following eight labs: Power and Energy Vehicle Environmental Lab, Power Lab, Electrical Power Integration Lab, Electrical Components Lab, Pulse Power & Directed Energy Lab, Thermal Fluids Lab, Fuel Cell Lab, and the Air Infiltration Lab. The building will also include operational support areas as well as special construction such as sound rated rooms and exhaust removal systems.
