This design-build project included a new Sports Complex for Benedictine University, a Division III Catholic university. This multi-purpose sports complex is highlighted by a 3,000 seat football stadium. The stadium features an artificial turf field, a nine-lane track, an aluminum-and-structural-steel grandstand, and a 280’ concrete deck with a press box, offices and four suites. Masonry concession and restroom buildings are below the grandstand. Additional facilities constructed include a natural surface baseball field with 1,200 seats and concrete dugouts as well as a women's softball field with masonry dugouts. All fields are lighted. Finally, work included a 6,400 SF masonry building, which services all of the fields, a retention pond, site utilities, and a natural practice field.
