Walsh Breaks Ground in Hawaii

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), along with the Navy and Walsh Construction, held a groundbreaking ceremony and a Hawaiian blessing for the $131.1 million final phase to help consolidate offices onto one campus.
The new facility will be able to support more than 700 NOAA employees and features piers, marine operations and the use of a new building joining two historic hangers.
The project is expected to be completed in late 2012.
