The Southwest’s top 140 Contractors

Southwest Construction Magazine reports record revenues in the region in 2008, totaling $20.3 billion. The publication's 13th year of ranking the top general contractors of the Southwest placed Archer Western Contractors at #34 of 140. Archer Western's regional office in Phoenix, AZ earned $160.2 million in revenue in three main categories: $62.18 million in water supply, $58.27 million in transportation, and $39.75 million in Sewage/Waste Disposal. In 2008, Archer Western completed the 3.5-year Valley Metro Rail Line Section 3 project in the downtown Phoenix area and the Design-Build downtown improvements in Tucson.
