We are pleased to announce the election of Matthew M. Walsh as National Chairman of the Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT) for a term of one year. CIRT is a national business trade association comprised of approximately 100 CEOs from the leading design/construction companies doing business in the United States. CIRT’s member firms directly employ over 500,000 individuals, and are responsible for more than $115 billion in public and private infrastructure work that contribute to an improved quality of life for all Americans.

Matt has served in many key capacities within CIRT including Vice Chairman since the mid 1990s. In his new role as Chairman, Mr. Walsh will provide guidance to the association with a particular focus on expanding on the leadership voice for the industry. Commenting on his election, Matt said, “CIRT has a distinguished history as a forum for CEO’s in our industry to share insights on best practices, industry trends, as well as business planning and management. I look forward to my term as Chairman and I hope to be able to continue the tradition of strong leadership that has become a hallmark of this organization.
